Every RUUUTS order issues a CO₂ certificate in your name: your calculated footprint, the offset of 100 kg net per case, and the references of the retired credits and planted trees. All publicly verifiable, by anyone, at any time.
Each certificate has its own identifier (CT-2026-…). No two are alike, and the same credit can't be issued twice.
The estimated emissions of your order (production, packaging and transport to you) plus a +50% correction on the prudence principle.
Your footprint is offset and we add 100 kg net per case: that difference is your contribution to the environment.
It points to the public verification page. Anyone can check it — you decide whether your name appears or 'private holder'.
A certificate is only worth its backing. Ours is twofold, and both legs have a public registry:
We offset with a diversified portfolio of high-integrity credits, retired (they can't be resold or reused) in a sub-account in your name, with its reference number on the certificate.
On top — and without counting it within the 100 kg net — we plant a tree per case, real and geolocated, that you can visit in the RUUUTS forest.
We communicate reduction and offset separately, with published methodology (gram-by-gram breakdown). We don't claim the wine is 'neutral' just for offsetting.
