Methodology and communication. The footprint is calculated using Life Cycle Assessment criteria (ISO 14040/44), grouped according to the GHG Protocol (Scope 1, 2 and 3). Before offsetting we apply a +50% prudence correction, and we offset 100 kg net per case (about 13 times the considered footprint) through retired verified credits (CNaught) and planted trees (Tree-Nation). RUUUTS communicates reduction and offsetting separately and does not attribute a «neutral» or «negative» footprint to the product as a result of offsetting.
